Today was no school! Gina is sick! On Friday we're going as a class to see the opera La Traviata. Halloween was great! We made food, mostly under Gina's instruction, while Stacy made decorations and Nathan offered supplies and a venue. Swine flu is apparently raging in the US? Have any of you gotten it?
It's snowed a few times here but hasn't stuck. Here's a picture of my host mom listening to music on my iPod.
Here is a picture of a Kalashnikov rifle-shaped vodka bottle.
Here's a picture of a kitten.
WHOSE KITTEN IS THAT I WANT ONE SO BAD AW DON'T TELL ME IT'S HOMELESS AW NAW DON'T TELLLLLLL MEEE.
ReplyDeleteI've seen that gun. Also, I enjoyed Gina's presentation. I presented mine in ghetto slang, which Sarah's tutor was all about. I think she was the only one, though.
No swine flu here yet. My tutor asked me what I thought about it last week and when I shrugged my shoulders her eyes widened and she said " но, дети умерают!!!". Ahhhhh.
Neither Muskrat nor Tiffani Muffin have swine flu; enough said!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha. Here is a picture of this... here is a picture of that... very straight forward, yet lacking linkability...
ReplyDeleteSeveral people in my department have had swine flu. It is just like the normal flu, if not less debilitating. I had something that resembled the flu, but I don't know if it was or not, because I couldn't go to the doctor sans health insurance. Still, everyone may have it, but it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal.
p.s. I want that bottle of vodka.
